Sadly, Crybaby/Coward/Senile Harry reid is at it again and this is just another outrageous comment that makes fear for his safety for himself and others.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., pivoted from his baseless charges that Mitt Romney doesn’t pay taxes to a new criticism that Mitt Romney is a bad representative of the Mormon religion.
Reid held a conference call ahead of Romney’s upcoming visit to Utah, where Reid said the Republican will meet voters who “understand that he is not the face of Mormonism,” according to the Salt Lake Tribune’s Thomas Burr.

Will someone get a big butterfly net and take Reid to the nearest mental health facility.  Maybe Lakes Crossing in Reno may be of some help to Reid.  But someone needs to get Reid committed somewhere because certainly is a danger to himself and others.

Might want to get your fill of ham this year, because "a world shortage of pork and bacon next year is now unavoidable," according to an industry trade group.
Blame the drought conditions that blazed through the corn and soybean crop this year. Less feed led to herds declining across the European Union “at a significant rate,” according to the National Pig Assn. in Britain.
And the trend “is being mirrored around the world,” according to a release (hat tip to the Financial Times).
In the second half of next year, the number of slaughtered pigs could fall 10%, doubling the price of European pork, according to the release.
The trade group urged supermarkets to pay pig farmers a fair price for the meat to help cover the drought-related losses.
In U.S. warehouses, pork supply soared to a record last month, rising 31% to 580.8 million pounds at the end of August from a year earlier, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

But it those pig products along with beef products and freeze them because after the election food prices are going to go sky high.
And yet this food shortage is preventable because we if weren't using so much corn and other grains for ethanol, there would be plenty of grains and corn available for the animals and humans.  But the Obama administration is putting ethanol ahead of humans.  Go figure.

From The New York Daily News: A nurse who accidentally disposed of a living donor's kidney during a transplant said she didn't realize it was in chilled, protective slush that she removed from an operating room, took down a hall to a dirty utility room and "flushed down a hopper," according to a report released by health officials on Monday.
The nurse said she didn't realize the kidney was put in the sterile, semi-frozen solution because she had been on a break, with a different nurse in her place, when a surgeon made that announcement during the Aug. 10 transplant at the University of Toledo Medical Center, according to a review conducted by the state for the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and obtained by The Associated Press through a records request.
Hospital administrative staff members interviewed on Aug. 21 hadn't determined how the nurse took the 13-gallon bag of slush, meant to extend the kidney's viability, past several members of the medical staff without them noticing a problem, the report said.
It said poor oversight and communication and insufficient policies were factors in the kidney's disposal, which prompted the voluntary, temporary suspension of the hospital's living-donor kidney transplant program and led to reviews by health officials and a consulting surgeon hired by the hospital.

A middle school teacher has pleaded guilty to a student's sexual assault, reports say.
Andre Thomas, 32, raped a 13-year-old girl in a classroom at Spring ISD's Roberson Middle School in August 2011, according to KTRK-Channel 13 and KPRC-Channel 2.
The plea deal reportedly gives him 180 days in jail and 10 years probation. There's also a $1,000 fine, KPRC says.
Cellphone records showing suspicious text messages between Thomas and another student led to the rape investigation, KPRC says.
"She was interviewed as another child that might have known about the other child's cellphone, and, when she was interviewed, she disclosed about the sexual abuse," prosecutor Denise Oncken told KPRC.

From the Orlando Sentinel: A man was intoxicated while riding his horse as he led police on a half-hour chase through a northeast Florida town, authorities said Tuesday.
Charles Larkin Cowart, 29, was arrested Monday afternoon in the city of Bunnell, about 60 miles south of Jacksonville.
A police officer was responding to a report of "an intoxicated male riding a horse" when he turned on his emergency lights to stop traffic as Cowart crossed the street, according to the charging affidavit. Cowart said he was on his way to his grandmother's house in nearby Flagler Beach, but refused officers' order to dismount and "in an aggressive manner reared the horse back" and took off running.
Officers did not immediately chase after him, the report said, citing the public and the horse's safety. Cowart continued to ride through town, "causing a crowd of people to come out of their homes" and a train to slow down as Cowart crossed over a set of railroad tracks. Police kept their emergency lights on, but did not use their sirens to prevent the horse from being frightened and "potentially making the situation worse."
Cowart ignored several verbal commands to get off the horse, which after more half an hour, became exhausted. Cowart eventually jumped off and took off running. He was captured a short time later. Shelley Berkley, who on Monday went to the Culinary union to tell the troops she can't win her Senate race against U.S. Sen. Dean Heller without them.
"I think it's my job to stand with working men and women," said Berkley, a former cocktail waitress, Keno runner and shoe shine girl who rose to Congress. "Our number one, two and three priorities should be jobs, jobs, jobs."

Holy Crap: What A Fricking End To The Packer Game

I am not going to complain about the referees because the Green Packers loss tonight, but....
The last play of the game was the most bizarre you will ever seen.  With 8 seconds left, the Seahawks had the ball on about the Green Bay Packer 20 and Russell Wilson went back to about the Packer 35 and threw a hail mary.  The ball was first caught by a Packer cornerback and then the ball was grabbed the Seahawk receiver.  One referee signaled a touchdown and the other on the play signaled a touchback- an interception.
The play was ruled a touchdown so it was reviewed and the referee and review judge ruled the play stood, so the Packers lost, 14-12.
First, in my humble opinion, the Packers didn't lose it on the last play of the game.  The 8 sacks given up in the first half by the Packers and Charles Woodson's stupid penalty on a third down by the Seahawks were just as much a factor in the game as the last play of the game.  The failure of the 2 point conversion also was a huge factor in the game.  And not getting a first down on the Packer's final drive certainly didn't help the Packers
Another factor was why didn't the Packers take a safety before the Seahawks winning drive?  It would have taken  them down to a 3 point lead, but the Packers would have had a free kick from the Packers 20 and at worst, the Seahawks drive and get a field goal to tie the game and go to overtime.
The Packers lost the game, not the referees.
Now, listening to the ESPN's announcers, it is clear they have an agenda against the on-field referees.  No matter what they did, the announcers didn't like it.  But in reality, I only saw a couple of bad calls- a bad call on a roughing the passer penalty and bad defensive pass interference penalty on the Packers on the Seahawks second last drive and that didn't lose the game for the Packers.  Even if the Packers didn't get the penalties, they still would have had the ball deep in the Seahawks territory.  Every other penalty was legitimate.
The ESPN announcers complained that offensive pass interference wasn't called on the final play, but no one calls that penalty, not even in Pop Warner leagues.
As far as the final catch, the played was reviewed by the referee and the replay official.  Unless I am mistaken, the replay official is a referee supervisor and not a replacement referee, so he was the one who made the call or helped make the call.  Do I like the call, hell no, was it the right call, I really don't know, did the call beat the Packers, hell no, the Packers beat themselves.
